About Toyotoshi S.A.
Toyotoshi S.A. is the exclusive importer and distributor of Toyota Motor Corporation in Paraguay. Founded on January 7, 1969 by Don Naoyuki Toyotoshi, a Japanese entrepreneur who arrived in South America with a clear business vision, the company became one of the most important private conglomerates in the country. From its first location on the corner of Estrella and Juan O'Leary streets, with just three employees and an initial capital of USD 20,000, Toyotoshi grew to operate seven companies in Paraguay, including Automarket S.A. and Distrimotor S.A. The group also operates five Toyota and Lexus dealerships in Canada. In Paraguay, the Toyotoshi network covers Toyota's full vehicle range: sedans, SUVs, Hilux pickups, Land Cruiser, and Hino commercial vehicles. The group also distributes Sony Consumer Electronics, Yokohama, and Mitsui OSK Lines. For foreigners wishing to purchase a new Toyota in Paraguay—one of the most active automotive markets in the region—Toyotoshi offers financing, official factory warranty, and an extensive network of certified Toyota technician workshops.
