Can citizens of any country obtain residency in Paraguay?
Yes. Paraguay accepts residents from any country in the world. MERCOSUR citizens (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador) have a streamlined process due to a regional agreement, but residency is open to everyone. With a specialized manager, the non-MERCOSUR process takes 35–105 days.
What is the Paraguay Investor Pass (launched April 2026)?
A program that grants direct permanent residency with a minimum investment of USD 150,000 (tourism sector) or USD 200,000 (real estate or stock exchange). No prior temporary residency required. Investor certificate issued in 5 business days. Only 1 visit to Paraguay every 3 years to maintain residency.
How does fiscal residency work in Paraguay?
With 120 days per year in Paraguay or your main home established in the country. The DNIT issues a Fiscal Residency Certificate valid for 1 year. Paraguay only taxes locally-sourced income — your foreign income is not taxed here.
Is the income tax really only 10%?
The IRP (Personal Income Tax) is progressive: 8%, 9%, and a maximum of 10% on Paraguayan-source income. Minimum taxable threshold: G. 80,000,000/year (~USD 11,000). Foreign income: not taxed. Corporate tax (IRE): flat 10%.
What is the maquila regime?
Law 7547/2025: a unique 1% tax on local value added. Imported inputs enter duty-free and VAT-free on a temporary basis. Ideal for manufacturing, textiles, technology and export services. 300+ registered companies.
Can a foreigner buy real estate in Paraguay?
Yes, without restrictions for urban properties. For rural land in border zones there are specific limitations. We recommend a certified notary — find one in our services directory.

Can a foreigner buy property in Paraguay?
Yes. Paraguay allows foreigners to purchase urban real estate without restrictions. For rural properties near borders there are some specific limitations. We recommend consulting with a verified notary/lawyer in our directory.

Can I receive alerts when new properties appear?
Yes. In your account you can set up alerts by type, area, price and features. We notify you by email when a matching property appears.
How do I calculate the return on an investment?
Each project page has an integrated ROI calculator considering purchase price, estimated rent, expenses and projected appreciation.

How much does it cost to publish as an agency?
Publishing is free. We work on a commission model over qualified leads that convert to customers. Terms are agreed in writing with each partner.

How many properties can I publish?
No limit. You can upload your entire inventory of properties for sale and rent at no extra cost.
How long does approval take?

What type of projects can I publish?
Off-plan, under construction and delivered projects. You can upload units, floor plans, renders and technical documentation.
How does the ROI calculator work for off-plan projects?
You provide the price per m², estimated rent and projected appreciation. Buyers see the calculator with that data and can adjust the parameters.
Does the portal have international reach?
Yes. Content is available in Spanish, English and Portuguese with SEO optimized in all three, capturing users from Brazil, the US, Europe and Argentina.

What types of professional service can I publish?
Lawyers, notaries, accountants, residency managers, hotels, tours, translators and other services linked to the real estate and lifestyle ecosystem in Paraguay.

When a user searches for services in your category and area, your profile appears. Leads are sent to you by email and are also available in your dashboard.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. With no monthly fee, cancellation is simple: contact us via our contact form and we process it within 48 hours.
