Azucarera Paraguaya (AZPA)

Azucarera Paraguaya S.A. (AZPA) is an agro-industrial company with more than 110 years of experience in the sugar market, founded in 1910. Its main industrial plant is located in Tebicuary, with a distribution center in Ypané and its headquarters on Avenida Artigas in Asunción. AZPA is Paraguay's largest organic sugar exporter and a global leader in this product, exporting 30,000 tonnes of organic sugar per year, primarily to the United States. Since 2006, the plant has increased its sugarcane processing capacity from 5,000 to 9,000 tonnes per day, with plans to reach 14,000 tonnes per day in the medium term. Paraguay holds first place in the global ranking of organic sugar exporters.
