Frigorífico Guaraní

Frigorifico Guarani S.A.C.I. was founded on March 1, 1985 as a pioneer of the Paraguayan meat industry, starting by supplying the local market and then entering international markets. It is a pioneer in the development of international markets for the export of Paraguayan meat and the exclusive supplier in Paraguay of hamburgers for prestigious international restaurant chains, such as McDonald's and Burger King. Over nearly four decades it evolved from a traditional meat processor into a diversified industrial meat-packing complex, with a byproducts plant inaugurated in 2001, a sausage factory opened in 2007, a biodiesel plant with a capacity of 40,000 liters per day (2006) and the Punto Carne cuts boutique (2002). It was the first Paraguayan meat company to obtain ISO 9001 certification and implement HACCP production systems. It produces refrigerated and frozen beef cuts, meat and bone meal, tallow, hamburgers with IQF technology and sausages. Its products are exported to more than 36 countries on all continents, with markets such as Brazil, Bolivia, Vietnam, South Africa, Egypt, Chile, Russia and Israel, and it has certification to export to the United States. Its original facility and offices are located in Fernando de la Mora, with additional processing centers in Itaugua, establishing itself as one of the benchmark exporting meat-packing plants of Paraguay.
