About Oleaginosa Raatz
Oleaginosa Raatz S.A. is a family-owned agro-industrial company founded in 1967 by brothers Lauro and Ricardo Raatz Reckziegel in Bella Vista, Itapúa department. Originally built on the collection and processing of tung, it now focuses on the production, transformation and diversification of oilseeds, with more than five decades serving demanding markets.
The plant processes roughly 360,000 tons per year of cereals and oilseeds (soybean, canola, sunflower, sorghum and tung), producing vegetable oils, meals and derivatives for human and animal consumption. In 1996 it added an edible-oil refinery, and its products serve the local market and exports to Mercosur, Europe, Asia and the United States. Its headquarters sit on Avda. Marcial Samaniego in Bella Vista.
