Its museum offerings are extraordinarily varied: it features the Clay Hall (dedicated to indigenous ceramics), the Sacred Art Hall (with colonial and religious pieces), the Guido Boggiani Hall (art and photography of indigenous communities), the Music Hall, the Paraguayan Cinema Hall, and a library that once belonged to writer Augusto Roa Bastos. It also hosts temporary exhibitions of contemporary Paraguayan artists.
