About Tacurú Pukú

Tacurú Pukú is a neighborhood of Hernandarias with a name of Guaraní origin: «tacurú» means termite mound or anthill and «pukú» means long. Guaraní place names are common in Alto Paraná and reflect the natural landscape descriptions given by the region's early settlers.
