About Pez de Mar Dulce
Pez de Mar Dulce is one of the most exciting restaurants in Asunción's current gastronomic scene. Located in the heart of La Cuadrita, it was founded by two renowned Peruvian chefs: Castro Mendívil and Renzo Garibaldi, who brought to Paraguay their deep knowledge of Nikkei gastronomy and the stamp of contemporary Peruvian cuisine. The concept fuses Japanese technique with Peruvian and local ingredients, with special starring roles for the freshwater products of the Paraguay River: surubí, pacú and other local species come to life in reinterpreted ceviches, tiraditos and signature causas. The menu also includes precision-cooked meats, pasta and gourmet sandwiches with original presentations. Forbes Paraguay included it in its ranking of Asunción's top 5 restaurants.
