About Ñacunday
Ñacunday is a district in the department of Alto Paraná that takes its name from the Ñacunday River, a tributary of the Paraná that borders part of the municipal territory. The area contains remnants of the interior Atlantic forest that form part of the natural heritage of eastern Paraguay. The district's economy combines agricultural and livestock production with the presence of protected natural areas nearby.
