About Tebicuarymí
Tebicuarymí is a district in the Paraguarí department whose Guaraní name, meaning «small Tebicuary», refers to the stream of the same name that crosses part of its territory. Located in Paraguay's Oriental Region, the district presents a landscape of plains and gentle hills with an agricultural vocation. The rural communities of Tebicuarymí base their economy on livestock raising and short-cycle crop production. The district retains the pace of rural Paraguay, with community life rooted in Guaraní-Paraguayan traditions and collective work on the land.
